Please note: This article has been updated since it was posted in November. Click here to read the updates. Latest update: 17th of November 2016
With season 7 almost upon us we have had a surprisingly amount of people ask us what the League of Legends Season 7 Rewards will be. Despite the fact that season 7 has not yet started, we already know most of the rewards. Below you will find more details on the season rewards. Every time new information is released by Riot we will update this article so the rewards listed will always be correct.
Season 7 Rewards - League of Legends
As always there will be ranked tier rewards. This means rewards based on the rank you achive. It is important to note you will be rewarded based on the ranking you have when the season ends, not the highest ranking you achieved during season 7. The League of Legends Season 7 will most likely end the 7th of November 2017. This will be the last day you can rank up and get your rewards. You can also purchase our elo boost services during season 7 to be sure you reach the ranking you desire.
Rewards you can most likely expect from Season 7 in LoL
1. Summoner Icons – No matter which rank you end up at, you will get an icon representing your achievement in Season 7.
2. Loading Screen Borders – If you end up in silver or higher, you will get a loading screen border showing which tier and division you ended up in.
3. Banner Trims – If you are Silver or higher you will also get a banner trim. This can be found on a person’s profile on the League of Legends client, and it will show other people your end of season 6 rank.
4. Invite and Friend request Flair – This is something you only get if you reach gold or higher. It pretty much shows your season 7 elo in LoL when you invite friends to join your games.
5. Victorious Skin – Last year it was Maokai. This is by far the end of season reward that most people strive to gain. If you reach gold or higher in Flex Queue or Solo/Duo Queue you will receive the seasons Victorious Skin. The skin depends on Riot, and each year it is a different one. It is generally announced quite close to the season ending. You can buy boosting from us and get the skin guaranteed at any time during the year, just remember you need to maintain your gold + rank to get this skin. One game a month is enough to stay in your current elo if your goal is simply to receive the Victorious Skin.
6. Special Secret reward – Riot has released a special reward for the top players of league of legends! In the sixth season it was a Challenger Medallion and a Challenger Jacket. They will most likely be bringing it back in season 7 as an extra reward to the top players. To get the medallion as your season 7 reward in League of Legends, you need to be in the top 10 of the challenger ladder. To get the jacket you need to be in the top 200 players. This is server specific, so 200 jackets will be given out on EUW, 200 on NA and so on.
7. Double Queue Special Reward – Riot wants both their queue's to do well and have thereby announced that players who reach gold or higher in BOTH solo/duo Queue AND Flex Queue will recive a special reward. This reward has not yet been announced but will be added as an update at the bottom of this article when information about it has been released.
LoL Summoner Icons - Season 7 Rewards
The Summoner Icon Rewards are given to all players who completes their 10 placement games every season. The icon you receive depends on your end of season rank. Other players can see your summoner icon for the previous season and it's displayed to others in all game types and the loading screen.
The picture above shows the Icon ranks for Dynamic Queue 2016 in season 5 (the season 7 rewards should be the same, but the new queue types mean the icons may be changed slightly depending on which queue's you receive your rank in. For example, twisted treeline icons are slightly different from normal 5 ranked).
The ranks are as follows (from left to right): Bronze - Silver - Gold - Platinum - Diamond - Master - Challenger - Challenger Top 50 - Challenger Top 10.
To receive the season 7 Summoner Icons you will need to play your 10 placement games. The icon you receive depends on the rank you finish season 7 on. Each Queue Type gives unique icons - but it is worth noting they are only slightly different.
The date you receive the season 7 summoner icons is not set in stone - season 7 ends the 7th of November so you will receive your rewards sometime before the end of November.
You can find the season 7 summoner icon pictures... well nowhere right now. Riot has not released the images for all the League of Legends season 7 rewards, but as soon as the images are leaked or released you will find them on this page.
Loading Screen Border Reward for Season 7 in LoL
Unfortunately your border rewards are just that, the borders. You do not get LoLBoost's cool logo our the cute little drawings inside the borders.
The Loading Screen Border Rewards are given each season to League of Legends players who are silver or higher at the season end(unfortunately bronze players do not receive this reward). Players often strive to reach a higher elo before the season ends as these borders are displayed during the loading screen, right before your game starts. Many low elo players have experienced harassment when going in game when their teammates realize that they were a lower rank the previous season, so having a gold or higher boarder screen is very sought after in the community, with Diamond, Master and Challenger being both the best looking ones and the most "prestigious" ones.
To receive the season 7 Loading Screen Border Reward you need to be silver or higher. Your border will reflect your previous season rank. The LoL season 7 reward for Loading Screen Borders may be slightly different from previous season borders due to the new client released for the game.
The date you receive Loading Screen Border varies from year to year, but as long as the season ends early to mid November you can expect all your LoL Season 7 rewards before November ends.
Different Borders for Different Queues - The loading screen border rewards are queue specific. This means if you are Platinum in Twisted Treeline, you will have a platinum loading screen border next season when playing Twisted Treeline. However, your Solo/Duo loading border for season 7 will depend on your season 6 dynamic queue rank. Did you end season 7 in Gold, you will have a gold border when playing Solo Queue and a Platinum Border when playing Twisted Treeline.
The border rewards are differnet for different queues, and not all queues have a border rewards. See how it works below:
- Season 7 Ranked Solo/Duo Queue will display your season 6 Dynamic Queue Rank.
- Season 7 Ranked Flex will display your season 6 Dynamic Queue Rank.
- Season 7 5v5 Ranked Flex will display your season 6 Dynamic Queue 5vs5 rank.
- Season 7 Ranked Twisted Treeline 3v3 will display your season 6 twisted treeline team rank.
- Season 7 Ranked Twisted Treeline solo will display your season 6 twisted treeline solo rank
- Season 7 Normal Summoner’s Rift will display your season 6 Dynamic Queue or Ranked 5s
- Season 7 Normal Twisted Treeline = 2016 Dynamic Queue or Ranked 3s
If you are playing Co-op vs AI your border will display your season 6 rank border for the same queue type. In custom games your border will reflect the highest border you have based on the end of season 6. If you have a diamond border in TT and a platinum border in SR, custom gaves will show your Diamond border for season 7. The same goes for Rotating Game Modes and ARAMs.
The season 7 Victorious Skin Reward Information
The League of Legends victorious skin is a Limited Edition End of Season Reward Champion Skin given to players as a reward for their highest ranking achieved when season ends. It is worth noting that you need to be Gold V or higher at the time of season end to earn this reward. The victorious skin changes every year, and last year it was Maokai. If you look at the image above, you will see each skin from each season, starting with Jarvan, Janna and Elise, and ending in Morgana for season 4, Sivir for season 5 and Maokai for season 6 (last season). It will be very exciting to see which Season 7 Skin will be the reward in the next League of Legends Season.
To receive the Victorious Skin Season Reward you need to be Gold V or higher when the season ends in one of the following Queue Types: Solo/Duo Queue, Flex Queue, 5vs5 Ranked Team or 3vs3 Ranked team. It does not matter if you are Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Master or Challenger when the season end, you will get the same Victorious Skin, but of course your borders, icon, flairs and banner trims will be better the higher ranking you are. The Master and Challenger border and rewards are of course the coolest, especially now that Challenger players are receiving "real life loot", such as jackets and medallions.
If you do not own the Champion for this years Victorious Skin fear not. Riot will grant you the champion in question for free, along with the skin for that year, if you meet the requirements of Gold V or higher in ranked for end of season.
The exact date you receive the Victorious Skin is not known. About a day or two after the season ends, Riot starts handing out the rewards for that season. It can take as long as two weeks before every single player on every single server has received all their rewards. If you are wondering when season 7 ends, it will be around the 7th of November so you can expect to receive all your rewards before November ends.
LoL season 7 Special Reward Information
As far as we can tell there will be three seperate special rewards for season 7. There will be two Challenger exclusive rewards, the Challenger Jackets for the top 200 Challenger players on each server + Challenger Medallions for the top 10 Challenger players on each server. These rewards are extremely exclusive and there are already pre-orders for several thousand dollars from players wanting to purchase them from the Challenger players owed these rewards.
The third special seaosn 7 reward for League of Legends will be something that is exclusive for all players who have reached Gold V or higher in both the Flex Queue and the Solo/Duo Queue. No one knows what this reward is yet, but we will post it here in this article as soon as information has leaked or Riot comes with an announcement. Let's all hope the crossover reward is a cool skin and not something boring.
End Note - Season 7 Rewards
As soon as Riot releases more information on League of Legends Season 7 rewards you can expect to see it in this article. You can also follow us on Facebook for more information. We are hoping season 7 in LoL will bring with it many more rewards. Here at LoLBoost we are of the opinion that each tier should bring with it specific, exclusive rewards so that everyone has something to strive for. A lot of League of Legends players have expressed the same desire. Hopefully Riot will listen to the community and implement more and exciting rewards.

League of Legends Season 7 Rewards - Updates 2016 and 2017
17th of November 2016 Update:
This post was just launched, but a few minutes after it was released we heard some strange rumors about the new solo queue and flex queue rewards. It is possible Solo Queue will give ALL of the normal rewards, while Flex Queue only gives a few of them. However, reaching gold in both queues will give you new and strange rewards, it will most likely be necessary to play both queues - at least if you are a true fan of the game and you want ALL the League of Legends season 7 Rewards.
Below you can read the updates from our old post - League of Legends previous season rewards.
We included the updates we posted for season 6 rewards in 2016 so those interested could check how the year played out based on what Riot promised and what actually happened. Below there is ONLY old updates, you have to scroll up a little to see the newest ones.
Updates based on Season 6 - Only read these if you are intersted to see if history repeats itself :
In march 2016 there were some questions on how the rewards would work with the new Queue Types. At this point we believed there would be 2 queues: Dynamic and Solo Queue. It was only later that Riot went back on their promise. Below you can read our original update:
Due to the new Queue system (Dynamic and Solo Queue) no one is sure how the rewards will be distributed. Riot said the following in a statement on Dynamic Queue:
“Expect most of the Ranked Rewards to shift to Dynamic Ranked and some concrete news in the first few months of the season.”
Well, it is now almost April, and so far there is no set release date for Solo Queue. As it looks now, it stands to reason that all the League of Legends ranked rewards that have been given out in the past for Solo Queue achievements will now shift over to Dynamic Queue, especailly if Riot drags their feet and take even longer with enabling Ranked Solo Queue. If we see Solo Queue at all this season (and knowing Riot that is a big if), the ranked rewards will most likely be something completely new and shiny to draw players in and make them want to spend time on Solo Queue.
We could expect seperate borders, but the Victorious Skin, Icons and Banner trims for LoL will most likely be handed out based on your Dynamic rating. Hopefully Riot will increase the ranked rewards for season 6 in League of Legends and make players really want to achieve those higher ranks to receive even more rewards!
17th of April 2016 Update:
To the deep displeasure of the League of Legends community, Riot has announced that the launch of Solo Queue as a seperate Queue has been put in indefinite hold. Riot first promised us that Solo Queue would be released a few weeks after season 6 started, then after a month or two they changed their statement to say that it would be released in the following months. Now, however, in an official statement they have put the project on hold while attempting to rectify the issues that Dynamic Queue has caused.
One particularly angry league player asked why Riot simply didnt release Solo Queue while they worked on the issues in Dynamic that are driving away players in hordes, to which Riot had no satisfactionary reply.
In LoLBoost's opinion, Solo Queue would be a welcome addition to LoL right now, but we believe Riot is too focused on the team aspect of the game to keep their word on this project and it is doubtful it will be released in Season 6, if it is even released at all. On one hand, at least we will know what League of Legends Season 6 rewards will be available this year, but if the queue had been released this year we could have been surprised with some new and exciting rewards. We are hopeful that Riot will realize their mistake and correct it, but it looks rather grim. Stay tuned for further updates on Season 6 rewards in LoL.
TL;DR: Below you can find the most likely rewards for season 6
League of Legends season 6 rewards:
1. Summoner Icons.
3. Banner Trims.
4. Invite and Friend request Flair.
5. Victorious Skin
10th of June 2016 UPDATE:
Since Riot announced that Solo Queue would not be coming to LoL after all (at least not during season 6), there has been a lot of grumbling, plenty of complaining and untold dissapointment among the LoL players. It was especially dissapointing because of the League of Legends Season 6 Rewards, or predicted rewards. With an extra queue there would have to be extra rewards. Sadly, our hopes were crushed, but fear not fellow League players. Since they cancelled Solo Queue, Riot has implemented two additional levels to champion mastery, each with it's own sweet rewards. Hopefully the Season 6 rewards for LoL will reflect Riot's understanding of their dissapointing behaviour, and they will go above and beyond in 2016 and give League of Legends players the season 6 reward set they deserve.
13th of July 2016 UPDATE:
League of Legends Season 6 Rewards are still a little bit of a mystery. We are still expecting the usual victorious skins, as well as borders, icons and the usual LoL rewards, but we are more excited to see if they will bring any new and shiny rewards to season 6. We are especially excited about the champion mastery rewards. Riot has yet to announce if there will be any cool champion mastery rewards for season 6 in LoL, and we have not heard anything in regards to extra prizes in lie of the solo queue that was never released (which was supposed to have its own rewards). There has been some chatter about team rewards, but since playing in a team these days still means playing Dynamic Queue - the same and only Queue we all play in - we are sceptical about the rumors and await Riot's own announcements. As soon as there are more news on what the League of Legends season 6 rewards will be, we will let you know right away! For now, you may rest assured you will at least get your borders and victorious skins!
15th of September 2016 UPDATE
Riot finally released a statement for an updated view of the season 6 rewards in League of Legends - Unfortunately it was not very extensive. It basically said what we have already been saying about the League of Legends Rewards for season 6 and what we can expect: Victorious Skin for Gold + players, Ward skins for ranked team rewards (which has just now been re-enabled and is showing the incorrect values. These are the correct ones: 15 points for tier 1 ward skin, 30 points for tier 2 ward skin and 45 points for tier 3 ward skin). They did not mention the other rewards, but it looks like they are unchanged and you will still receive the borders, summoner icons and banner trims in addition to the other rewards mentioned.
1st of October 2016 UPDATE
Chinese website leaked a picture of Maokai, causing a rush of speculations that Maokai would be the recipient for the 2016 Victorious Skin ranked reward. This is not yet confirmed by Riot, as generally the champion with the most impact on the season as a whole receives the Victorious Skin. Scroll up and read about the victorious skin and other season 6 rewards in League of Legends for more information.
5th of October 2016 UPDATE
It has been confirmed - Season 6 end the night of November 7, 2016. Victorious Maokai is officially announced as the League of Legends season 6 skin reward! Riot has also announced a special, new reward for Challenger players: An exclusive, physical rewards designed for 2016. We do not know what this will be yet, but boy are we excited!
2nd of November 2016 UPDATE
The special reward has been confirmed for end of 2016 - it is going to be challenger jackets and challenger medallions. Read more about this under the Season 6 Rewards section of this article.
